sorry I didn’t post for a while, a certain thing got in the way-im not looking at you, school-but here is finally part 5 of the inferno. yaaaaay! Also, since we were talking about plagiarism in school, most of the names in my stories are taken from fantasynamegenerators.com. also, I adapted the descriptions of the Khadrein and the Olsgomba from the same website. check it out, its really cool.
Alicia and Tom were planning to head to the towering terminal building of the old Fletcher airport. It had been abandoned within the first months of the lab explosion, when almost half of the five thousand people in it had burst into flames. The others were slowly cooking, but that was preferable to the nightmare the outside world had become. The Fletchers, as they came to be known, dug a huge pit under the airport where they put infected people. The infected started accessing the lower levels of the airport from the pit, and after several deaths and outbreaks, the Fletchers decided to bomb the pit. They sent a call to the Government to drop a bomb on the pit. Unknown to the Fletchers, the Government also decided to bomb the entire airport. As they sent out a squadron of bombers, Alicia had heard about it and hacked into the computer systems. Despite her attempts to stop the bombers, they had still hit the airport, although they had hit only half of it. The airport had sunk into the pit as hundreds of zombies, Pox Beasts, and Chokers ran amok in the building. Everyone had died in agony and chaos, and to this day, it was one of the main reasons that the Inferno was overrun. Alicia, at that time Command Sergeant Major, had been disgraced and set back to Private for a time, knowing that she had failed to alter the deaths of a growing community.
But the wind failed them. Fifty meters above ground and six kilometers from the airport, the wind died. They slowly floated to the desert ground below them. Sitting on the ground, enveloped in cloth, they looked out over the Inferno. The forms of hostile creatures crawled around on the ground. Tom looked around them.
“We should get going.” he said.
He had just finished speaking when the first gasp came from behind them, and Alicia was thrown to the ground, hands digging into her throat.
sorry, just realized how short it was. ill try make. the next one longer
