This is a sort of hymn I wrote. Tell me what y’all think!

Lord preserved me, though I don’t deserve Thee.

You lead me ‘long the way.

Though my blind eyes rare see it,

And my deaf ears rare hear it,

You lead me ‘long the way.

Lord has loved me, thought too much of me.

You’ve blessed me ‘long the way.

Though I’m ungrateful for them,

And I often ignore them,

You’ve blessed me ‘long the way.

Lord has heard me when I cried out toward Thee,

You’ve answered me ‘long the way.

Though my sins keep amounting,

And my failure’s astounding,

You’ve answered me ‘long the way.

—

Lord I need Thee, Your mercy’s freed me.

You’ll ever be my strength.

Though I know I will falter

I’ll come again to Your alter.

You’ll ever be my strength.
